About Liz

Liz began her interest in pursuing a future in Creative and Performing Arts early, studying voice, dance and acting beginning at age 5.  After high school she attended Wake Forest University, receiving her BA in Theatre in 1995.  From there she returned to the Tri-State Area to attend the highly competitive Actor’s Studio Drama School program, housed at time at The New School.  During her three years there, she took a variety of courses in performance technique, voice work, and scene analysis.  The skills and perspective on teaching and storytelling that she acquired during this time are now incorporated into her work as an educator and writer.

After graduate school in New York, Liz moved West to Los Angeles where she worked briefly in the film and television industry before turning her talents towards the classroom in 2007.  In 2010 Liz once again headed back to the East Coast, and has worked sine then teaching and developing programs for a variety of schools and students in grades 3 through college Seniors.  Liz currently works as an adjunct professor in the Communications Department of the County College of Morris and is working on writing her first textbook, to be published in 2026.
